Bien qu’il soit 200 fois moins produit que l’acide sulfurique (1 Mt/an contre 200 Mt/an), la base ARIA enregistre près de 80 accidents impliquant de l’acide fluorhydrique (contre 220 pour l’H2SO4). Une série d’accidents récents vient nous rappeler ses dangers, et surtout la gravité des conséquences en cas de rejet
L’acide fluorhydrique est à proscrire comme utilisation dans un traitement antidérapant (source INRS et AMELI)
